ICA/SUV 2026 Elections: Voting Instructions

The ICA Section on the Archives of University and Research Institutions (SUV) invites its members to participate in the 2026 voting process for the Section Steering Committee. This process concerns the election of the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Executive Members, in accordance with the Section’s governance procedures. The Nominating Committee consists of Kelly Fitzgerald, Anne-Flore Laloë and Mariella Soprano.

Listed below are the candidates for the positions of Chair, Vice-Chair and Executive Members (see Part A below); voting instructions (Part B); and a voting ballot (Part C).

Please send your voting form by email only to the Nominating Committee at suv-election.abacus660@passinbox.com with the subject line “ICA-SUV elections”. Voting ballots must be received by 12 July 2026. Results will be published on the Section’s website.

Part A. Nominees

A.1. Chair.

One person has been nominated for this position. If the Section Steering Committee and the annual General Assembly ratify it, she will be elected by acclamation (no vote is required). A.2. Vice-Chair

One person has been nominated for this position. If the Section Steering Committee and the annual General Assembly ratify it, she will be elected by acclamation (no vote is required). A.3. Executive Members

There are five people nominated for four positions. So, a vote is necessary (see Part B). Please find at the bottom of the page the PDF biographies of the following nominees.

Part B. Voting instructions

1. A vote is not necessary for the positions of Chair. Karen Jamison Trivette is elected by acclamation, subject to the approval of the Section Steering Committee and the annual General Assembly.
2. A vote is not necessary for the positions of Vice-Chair. Susanna Kokkinen is elected by acclamation, subject to the approval of the Section Steering Committee and the annual General Assembly.
3. A vote is necessary to elect four Executive Members of the Section.

3. Add your contact information – The reason we require your contact information is to allow us to verify that you are eligible to vote. In order to vote, you must be a member of the ICA/SUV or representing an institution that is a member of the ICA/SUV. Only one person will be accepted as representative of an institution.
