The International Council on Archives (ICA) is pleased to announce the release of the Japanese translation of Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness: A Manual for Protecting Archives, authored by Margaret Crockett and Emilie Gagnet Leumas in collaboration with the ICA’s Expert Group on Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness (EGEMDP). This new edition, titled 緊急事態管理及び災害への備え－アーカイブズ保護のためのマニュアル, has been translated by the National Archives of Japan, expanding access to this essential resource for Japanese-speaking archival professionals.
