The Central Africa Regional Branch of the ICA (CENARBICA) is pleased to invite you to its upcoming webinar series taking place throughout April 2025. These virtual sessions will provide a unique platform for archival professionals across the Central Africa region to explore critical topics at the intersection of archival practice, human rights, artificial intelligence, and financial transparency—especially in a time of rapid transformation for the profession.
Each webinar will feature expert speakers who will share insights, research, and practical approaches to emerging challenges. The sessions are open to all and designed to foster meaningful dialogue and knowledge-sharing across our community.
All sessions will run for 1 hour and 30 minutes and will be held virtually.

In a world—and a continent—facing persistent conflict and social unrest, archives play a vital role in promoting peace. This session will explore how documentary heritage can support truth and reconciliation processes by preserving evidence, fostering transparency, and establishing justice.
