Originally published in October 2024, the manual was written by Emilie Gagnet Leumas and Margaret Crockett in collaboration with the ICA’s Expert Group on Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness. It was developed to support training courses in the Caribbean and Africa and has since become a cornerstone resource for archives professionals worldwide.
