The ICA New Professionals Programme welcomes applications from mid-career and senior records and archives professionals from around the world to serve as Mentors for this programme.

The Mentor commits about 4-8 hours a month to liaise with and support a New Professional over the period of a year. We welcome applications from any ICA members – working, volunteer, or retired – who have an interest in supporting New Professionals who are considered active within the ICA. These professionals can offer advice on archival and records management questions and on more practical career matters, such as planning career moves, applying for positions, and identifying opportunities for further training.

Mentors must be ICA members or work for institutions that hold ICA membership. To facilitate communications with this year’s cohort of New Professionals, we encourage applications from potential Mentors who are comfortable speaking and writing in English and/or Spanish.
