Between 19 November and 10 December, all ICA members (categories A, B, C, and D), in good standing, will be able to vote for their two (2) preferred candidates to be part of the Programme Commission (PCOM) as PCOM at large members. Newly elected members will join and complement ongoing members of PCOM in 2025. They will serve in the Programme Commission for four (4) years. 

The candidates who nominated themselves have responded to the call for nominations, which indicated that PCOM seeks to have representatives from all the ICA regions and would like to highlight that the underrepresented regions in the current Programme Commission are Africa and the Arab Region.

Elections Process

In September, the Programme Commission opened a call for nominations for three open positions. The call for self-nominations period ran for one month between 19 September and 27 October.  

We received 18 eligible nominations for at large members in PCOM put forward for the consideration of the membership. The election will be conducted in accordance with the Constitution which was approved by the Extraordinary General Assembly on 20 October 2021 and the Internal Regulations adopted by the General Assembly 2024 (art. 7.6 of the Internal Regulations). 

For PCOM elections, each voting member, regardless the Category, has one (1) vote.

All ICA members in good standing will receive an email from the ICA LimeSurvey account with the voting information. Thus, we invite you to check your inboxes (or spam, in case you do not find it there) to cast your vote via LimeSurvey.
