You will find on this page three key documents that outline the governance, strategic direction, and upcoming priorities of EURBICA, the European Regional Branch of the International Council on Archives (ICA). Together, they provide a comprehensive overview of EURBICA’s mission, structure, and planned actions for the coming years. 

• EURBICA Constitution: This document presents the governing framework of EURBICA, as amended and approved in 2016. They explain the branch’s purpose, organisational structure, membership criteria, and decision-making processes. The constitution outlines the roles of the General Assembly and Executive Board, voting rules, financial responsibilities, and the procedures for amending statutes or concluding branch activities. 

• EURBICA Strategic Plan 2025–2029: This document presents the long-term priorities guiding EURBICA’s work over the next five years. It defines strategic objectives aligned with ICA’s global vision and the needs of the European archival community. The plan focuses on strengthening collaboration, enhancing professional development, supporting innovative archival practices, and reinforcing EURBICA’s role within the European region. 

• EURBICA Operational Plan 2025: Building on the strategic plan, the operational plan outlines the concrete activities scheduled for 2025. It includes timelines, partners, and specific actions under four main goals.  

Together, these resources offer a clear picture of how EURBICA operates, where it is heading, and how members can engage in its activities and governance.
