The ICA Climate Change Working Group (CCWG) is inviting archivists and records managers worldwide to take part in a global survey exploring how climate change is affecting archives. The CCWG offers a collaborative space for the archival community to share experiences, exchange ideas, identify knowledge gaps, and develop collective strategies to address this urgent challenge.

This survey seeks to gather information on the effects of climate change on archives, whether gradual or sudden, and on strategies already in place to prepare for these changes. Your responses will help map available resources, share knowledge, and highlight areas where further support is needed.

Once collected, the CCWG subgroup focusing on climate impacts will analyse the results and share insights on the ICA website, offering colleagues worldwide access to relevant resources. The findings will also guide future actions, including webinars, training, research initiatives, and practical tools to support archival resilience.
