The International Council on Archives (ICA) is delighted to announce Moisés Rockembach as the Editorial Manager for ICA’s “Online Resource of the Month” initiative. This initiative aims to bring archival professionals across the globe closer to valuable resources from ICA’s Online Resource Centre, highlighting key topics in archival practices, standards, and innovations from ICA Groups and partners.
About Moisés Rockembach
Moisés Rockembach is a professor at the University of Coimbra and a dedicated researcher at the Center for Interdisciplinary Studies in Portugal. His extensive background spans Archival Science, Records Management, and Software Engineering, making him a versatile expert in document management and digital preservation.
In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Moisés serves on ICA’s Expert Group on Managing Digital and Physical Records (EGMDPR). He is also a leading figure in the InterPARES Trust AI project, where he is advancing studies on AI literacy for records managers and archivists.
On his appointment, Moisés shared his enthusiasm:

Moisés brings not only his expertise but also his commitment to furthering the reach and impact of the Online Resource of the Month initiative. Over the next year, he will work with the ICA Communications team to deliver insightful reviews on a bimonthly basis, ensuring the global archival community benefits from the wealth of knowledge housed in the Online Resource Centre.
