Jenny SCOTT

Jenny was born in Auckland, New Zealand. She has an Associate Diploma in Photography from South Australian College of Advanced Education 1984, a Bachelor of Arts (History and Politics) from Adelaide University 1993, and a Graduate Diploma in Library and Information Management from University of South Australia 1994. After working in the library of the AIDS Council of South Australia she joined State Records of South Australia in 1997. In 2000 she was appointed Curator of the Pictorial Collection at the State Library of South Australia, where she is currently Collection Development Archivist implementing enhanced access to pictorial collections. Jenny is a professional member of the Australian Society of Archivists and represents the State Library of South Australia on the National Archives of Australia Adelaide Consultative Forum. She is a lecturer on access to digital content for the University of South Australia's Information Management program. In 2012 she published Dumbo Diary, the history of RNZAF No. 6 Flying Boat Squadron in the S.W. Pacific 1943 to 1945. At PARBICA 15 in Honiara she presented a paper titled 'Collection digitisation and public access to archival collections'. Jenny is a member of the ICA Expert Group on Advocacy AEG.
