This project involves the collaboration of an independent archival consultant with two local authorities in N’Djamena, capital of Chad, to provide support services for records managers in local government.

The project follows an in-depth analysis of two communes in N’Djamena into the organizational issues, preservation, and archival management in general, of which civil registration was found to be a principal focus for attention. The aim of the programme is to produce transparency, citizen-centred administration and high-quality service delivery to the public.
