The ICA recognises the vital importance of ongoing professional development for its members and the archival and records management community. To promote this, it established its Training Programme in May 2017 during the Programme Commission (PCOM) meeting in Arusha, Tanzania.
ICA’s Training Programme aims to offer its members and extended community high-quality training opportunities covering the full range of archive and recordkeeping skills through various delivery methods, including online learning, virtual and in-person events, and resources published on the ICA website. It seeks to build capacity within the global archives and recordkeeping community, promote excellence, and make optimal use of ICA resources.
