We are excited to announce that, as part of our collaboration with the Cultural Emergency Response (CER) for the upcoming regional training programme, “Emergency Response for Documentary Heritage,” we are calling for ICA members to apply and to participate in the course. The course aims at professionals across South and South-East Asia, and it will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 30 November to 4 December 2026. All selected participants will receive a grant to attend this workshop. Paris I 27 May 2026

Registration is now open for the Image and Research Conference 2026 (19th Antoni Varés Conference), which will take place in Girona from 18 to 21 November 2026. The event, held biennially, provides a key platform for reflection and knowledge exchange on the management of photographic and audiovisual heritage. 22 May 2026

ICA Professional Sections, Expert Groups, and Working Groups help shape global archival practice and directly contributed to developing the theme #ArchivesForJustice: Rights, Memory & Futures. Engaging with them means joining international conversations on human rights, inclusion, shared heritage, law, and the future of archives, while connecting with peers who are actively shaping the profession worldwide.
