The Training Programme of the National Archives is pleased to invite the archival community to participate in the Human Rights and Archives workshop that will be held on December 4th to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the adoption of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
One of the goals of the workshop is to encourage archivists and record managers to disseminate and endorse the “Basic Principles on the Role of Archivists and Records Managers in Support of Human Rights”, this document was issued by the Human Rights Working Group (HRWG) of the International Council on Archives (ICA).
