Unlocking the City archives through using Artificial Intelligence
Following the great success of its first webinar, the ICA Section on Local Municipal and Territorial Archives will host its next webinar on 4 October 2021. This time the focus is on ’Unlocking the City archives through using Artificial Intelligence (AI)’. The pace of technological change is increasing and new uses are being found for technologies such as AI. Innovative and creative solutions for everyday or specific tasks could be available so this is a great opportunity to pool knowledge among city and regional archivists.
We are looking for 3 speakers from within the SLMT community to form an online panel to share 15-20 minute presentations giving their perspective on how AI has provided potential or actual solutions to archive management. Questions and answers will be an important part in this, taking forward the discussion.
