The Fund for International Archival Development (FIDA) was established to support actions to further the objectives of ICA, in particular ensuring: ‘the effective and efficient management of archives as an essential characteristic of all societies and strives to raise public awareness of archives throughout the world’. The Fund provides assistance to archive professionals and institutions working in challenging conditions, normally in under-resourced countries or regions, by supporting the development of archivists and archives.
The call for nominations will be open from 13 September – 03 October 2021, and if more than one candidate presents themselves then a vote will take place between 05 October – 15 October 2021.
Any members in good standing can submit their nomination by filling out this form and providing a two page CV. Please note that if this proceeds to elections your CV will be shared in the members-only space on the ICA website. Questions can be sent to ica@ica.org
