Are you getting ready to celebrate International Archives Week? We are!

We’re excited to be able to present 5 webinars taking place during #IAW2023 from 5 to 9 June. The first webinar, taking place on 5 June, will be a virtual conversation between the ICA Elected Officers and special guests on how archival institutions, like many other cultural organizations, are changing the way they do their work.

On 6 June the former National Archivist of South Africa, Graham Dominy, will join us for a special SAHR Tuesday Talk to give us his personal perspective on the first ICA international conference on archives and human rights, which was hosted in Cape Town in 2003. This event will also feature a panel composed of the President of the ICA, Josée Kirps, as well as Trudy Huskamp Peterson and Antonio González.

7 June will feature two webinars – one highlighting ICA Sections and how to get involved (specially for African colleagues), and another celebrating 50 years of ALA, the Latin American Association of Archives.
