The FIDA Call for Projects is currently open! The FIDA Board of Directors now invites all ICA members to submit proposals for projects and initiatives planned for 2024.
What is FIDA?
The ICA Fund for the International Development of Archives’ (FIDA) is a distinct programme of grants to support those projects which endeavour to develop an archive or to support individual archivists, through career development, mentoring and other methods, to enable archives and their archivists to acquire professional and management competencies needed to manage the archives in their countries, regions or communities.
Who is Eligible?
Applicants must be members in good standing of the ICA, at the time of application, or whose parent organization is already a member in good standing and will partner the applicant. Any ICA member from all categories may apply for a grant. Non-members or non-member organizations may partner with members to apply for project funding as long as an ICA member is a project lead.
Interested in Applying?
This year, we have ONE form for all applicants, available in English, French and Spanish.
**Note to past applicants: please carefully review the new form and guidelines as some requirements have changed.
The completed application form must be mailed to fida@ica.org by 15 September 2023.
