For the second year in a row, ICA is participating in a special edition of Archive and Records Association of the UK and Ireland (ARA)’s #ArchiveHour. This special international edition will be held on Thursday, 24 February 2022 from 14:00 – 15:00 GMT/15:00 – 16:00 CET.
#ArchiveHour was initially started by ARA in 2017 as a way to engage with the archives and records community in the United Kingdom and Ireland via twitter. Last year, the launch of #InternationalArchiveHour allowed them to extend the conversation to the entire archival international community. The event takes place on the last Thursday of every month and this month will take place from 14:00 – 15:00 GMT to better include people from all over the world.
ICA, ARA and ALA (ICA’s Latin American branch) will be the co-hosts of the event, with other international colleagues as the guests hosts. We will be sharing a series of questions and look forward to the exchange of information and ideas that will follow.
