Comma, International Journal on Archives is the principal periodical publication of the International Council on Archives. This journal currently has two open calls: a call for abstracts and a call for language editors. Both calls close on the 1st of September 2023, so you have two more weeks if you are interested in contributing to this ICA publication!

Call for Abstracts for the next Special Issue of Comma   
Comma’s Editorial Board is planning an edition devoted to the analysis and discussion of training and education in archives and records management around the world. This edition is titled “Training and Education in Archives and Records Management”. 
To explore these important topics further, we invite you to submit an abstract between 250 and 350 words. The abstract can be submitted in any of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Russian, and Spanish. 
The abstract should be sent to Editor-in-Chief for Comma, Bethany Anderson (comma@ica.org), and special issue editors, Margaret Crockett (crockett@ica.org) and Andrew Flinn (a.flinn@ucl.ac.uk).

Comma Seeks Language Editors 
The ICA, the Editor-in-Chief, and the Comma Editorial Board seek candidates for Editors who are competent and have published or edited in any of the following languages: Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Russian, and Spanish. 
The successful candidates will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief and the experienced and committed Editorial Board. Candidates should have: 
A commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equity  
Demonstrated publication and editorial experience  
A current ICA membership  
Familiarity with the structure and activities of the ICA  
Excellent communication and writing skills  
Ability to organize and delegate to professional colleagues  
Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture relationships with emerging and established authors  
A firm understanding of the archival profession and the archival literature
