This manual is the work of the ICA Committee on Current Records in an Electronic Environment (CER, 2000-2004) and addresses the consequences of the fact that, throughout the world, records of all sorts are increasingly produced in electronic form. This ICA Study no. 16 takes a practical approach to managing and preserving electronic records throughout their lifecycle.
