To further the aims of ICA and to strengthen co-operation within eastern and southern Africa. ESARBICA is responsible for carrying out the policy and programmes of ICA in this region, where these are relevant to ESARBICA members. ESARBICA operates under its own constitution adopted at the Branch's inaugural conference, Nairobi, 1969 and amended 1976.
