You have this week to finish and submit your application to the FIDA Call for Projects 2021. The deadline was extended until Sunday, 11 October 2020. FIDA Supports Archives and Archivists!
While archives and archivists have made great strides in the last few years, in many countries there is still more to be done. The ICA’s Fund for the International Development of Archives (FIDA) aims to provide assistance to archive professionals and institutions working in especially challenging conditions.

FIDA Funded Projects 2019
In 2018 the Board of trustees of FIDA has awarded the following projects:   1. Creation of literary, artistic and cinematic collections in the National Archives of Cameroon 2. Organization and accessibility of the Memoria Abierta Photo Archives, Guatemala 3. Training to the unqualified archivists of the Burundi public services, Burundi   These projects will be implemented in the course of 2019.
