Launched in 2016, the New Professionals Newsletter is an initiative led by the ICA’s Active New Professionals. Since its inception, its main goal has been to showcase stories, advice, and insights from new professionals in the archival and records management field across the globe. You can find all past issues available for consultation at the bottom of this page.
In 2025, a new editorial board was established in collaboration with the Active New Professionals, the ICA Alumni community, and the Early Career and Professional Section (ECaPS). This board oversees the newsletter’s content to ensure it remains a relevant and valuable resource for those beginning their careers in the field.
The current editorial team includes members of the 2025 New Professionals Programme (NPP) cohort: Clara Giménez Delgado, Sandy Wang, Arvid de Raaij, Yasmin T. Ismail, and Adrià Font Guim.
