PCOM News and Events

There is one week left to apply for funding through the PCOM Call for Projects 2024! This funding is provided each year by the ICA’s Programme Commission to fund archives and records management projects that support ICA’s professional progamme, strategic objectives and business plan. If you have a project that you want to develop in 2024, now is the time to apply! Be sure to complete the application form through LimeSurvey.

Do you have any questions about this call? Wondering if your project is eligible or who needs to be involved?  We will be hosting a live Q&A webinar on Wednesday 8 November at 15:00 CET (Paris Time). ICA’s Vice-President Programme Meg Phillips will join us to explain the objectives of the Programme Commission, the timeline for the current call for projects, and general criteria for the assessment of projects with examples of successful past projects. After this, the floor will be open to participants to ask questions.

On the 9th of March 2023, the Programme Commission (PCOM) hosted its first virtual meeting of the year to discuss the last updates of the Commission. The conversation was focused on the roles of the new PCOM members, the latest updates on projects and initiatives supported by PCOM, and the ICA Abu Dhabi Congress planning.  

We would like to thank all the applicants who submitted their proposals for the PCOM Call for Projects 2023. We were delighted by the high number of proposals received for this call presenting a wide range of initiatives for creating deliverables in different areas or for organizing events in several cities in the world.  

Thank you to all the candidates for seats on ICA's Programme Commission (PCOM) and to the ICA members who voted in the first full PCOM election under the recently revised ICA Constitution and Internal Regulations.  

The PCOM Call for Projects 2023 is currently open and will close today, 30 November 2022 at 23:59 (CET Time in France).
