A unique set of photographs of the construction of Tower Bridge, images of the Great Fire of 1666 and a set of compelling photos of Victorian street life feature in the new version of our ‘Collage – The London Picture Archive’ website which provides free access to over a quarter of a million images of London dating from 1450 to the present day.

As previously announced, during the 2016 ICA Congress in Seoul, the ICA section of Professional Associations is hosting the Film Festival on Archives and Records Management.

We received more than 520 abstracts of the highest quality and we thank you for your generous participation. Our Programme Commission is currently closely assessing them and will be able to publish the list of selected abstracts for the Congress shortly. Thank you for your patience and your understanding.

Last but not least! This week meet our eighth New Professionals Programme bursary holder, Dolores Grant, from Ireland.

This week meet another one of this year New Professionals Programme bursary holders, Annelie de Villiers, a South African living in Melbourne, Australia. "I am currently working as a Research Assistant at Melbourne University whilst finishing my Masters’ thesis at Monash University. I am the Assistant Research Archivist on the Return, Reconcile, Renew project where we are developing a data archive which will forge new ground in the Indigenous development of protocols for the digital archiving of, and online access to, information of high cultural sensitivity.

Going on with introducing the members of the New Professionals Programme of the year, this week we meet Yujue Wang, from China. "I began my  archival studies from 2004 in Wuhan University. After my master's degree in 2011, I lived in France to continue my research. Then I got my doctorate in the École nationale des chartes in July 2014. Now I have come back to Wuhan University (China) and am a junior lecturer in the School of Information Management where my major study began.
