The International Council on Archives (ICA) held a four-day workshop, Digitisation, Digital Preservation, and Emergency Response for Endangered Archival Collections, in Warsaw, Poland, from 16–19 September 2025. Organised in partnership with the Institute of National Remembrance, the International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage (ALIPH), and the State Archival Service of Ukraine, the workshop brought together experts for hands-on sessions, site visits, and discussions to strengthen archival capacity worldwide. A cornerstone guide for protecting archives and documentary heritage is now available in French. Emergency Management and Disaster Preparedness: A Manual for Protecting Archives has been translated by Claude Roberto and David Rajotte, making this essential resource accessible to French-speaking archives professionals worldwide.
