ICA New Professionals Projects

Each cohort of Active New Professionals are supported to work together to complete a group project to support and extend the aims of the New Professionals Programme. Below you will find some of the recent projects developed by them.

• Volunteers in archives: exploring the relationship between archive professionals and volunteers – NPs 2022/23. To learn more about this project:

  • ICA Roma 2022 Conference Presentation: Gaps: An Analysis of the Roles, Responsibilities and Challenges of New Professionals Today
  • ICA New Professionals Survey 2022 – Final Report, May 2023 – This report was presented at the June 2023 PCOM meeting. PCOM is responding to the recommendations provided and will work with the NPP and other areas of the ICA to consider implementation of some recommendations.
