Join us and hear from our international community of students and new professionals at the NPP/FAN Virtual Seminar Series covering Archives and Technology, Archives and Social Justice, and Archives and Education, Training and Research. 

The NPP/FAN Virtual Seminar Series is organized by the New Professional Programme (NPP) in collaboration with the Forum of National Archivists (FAN), to give voice to our current international community of students and new professionals and provide an opportunity to engage with leaders in the profession. The series will commence with three seminars in the first half of the year (details below), with another three to be held in the second half of 2024. 

We are glad to announce the Mentors who are ready and willing to support the Active New Professionals throughout the year. We received 15 applications from 9 different countries, with an outstanding response from the French-speaking community.

We are delighted to present this new group of archivists and records managers who will be collaborating this year on projects related to community engagement, advocacy and technical education. Want to meet them? Click here.

We would like to thank all the ICA members that submitted applications for the last call of the New Professionals Programme. Our congratulations to the six Active New Professionals for 2023!

The 22nd ICA New Professionals newsletter (and the last one of this year) has just been released. In this special edition, the New Professionals from the two last cohorts (2020-2021 and 2021-2022) share their experiences at the Rome Conference, the first in-person ICA conference since the start of the pandemic, with the rest of the archival community. They provide a summary of their presentations and some of the most meaningful moments at this ICA event.
